- Performs accounting support functions requiring knowledge of company general ledger accounts and accounts payable policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy through the monthly reconciliation of all payments made.
- Reviews and processes all vendor invoices to ensure accuracy, alignment with purchase order, and receipt of all required approvals.
- Performs timely reconciliation of all vendor statements.
- Assists in ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close through adherence to the Accounting Month End Close Checklist.
- Associates degree in Accounting, Business or similar field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Computer proficiency in web-based programs and applications, Microsoft Office Suite applications and related departmental software, with preference toward dealer management system (DMS) experience, to include researching and looking up information.
