OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist a client-dedicated team with work related to filings.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide general administrative support to legal teams.
  • Perform general copying.
  • Send faxes and scan documents.
  • Perform general file upkeep, including the physical filing of paperwork and uploading documents to the internal systems.
  • Retrieve and return files.
  • Assist with projects as related to the practice.
  • Create electronic and/or physical files for new cases; including creating file labels.
  • Prepare shipping labels and letters and collate packets for employer/client copies.
  • Utilize and update in-house database per instructions.
  • Prepare reports and perform audits to ensure data quality.
  • Work with others to maintain file order of the centralized filing cabinets.
  • Collect recycled papers from Attorneys/Paralegals/Immigration Advisors and dispose of in shredding bins as needed.
  • May provide Facilities-related assistance concerning parking, FedEx, UPS, inventory, and office supplies.
  • May provide IT assistance for new hire setup and general IT issues as needed.
  • May assist with the distribution of checks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in an office environment.
  • General office clerical skills (e.g. phones, typing, filing, etc.).
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle heavy workloads.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Positive and friendly attitude.

The range for this position is $46,300-$48,800

The salary range for this position is based on market research. If an offer is made to an individual, the amount offered takes factors into consideration including, but not limited to, an individual’s education, licensure, certifications, experience, and skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range.
