We are looking for a bright, energetic individual to join our team as an Assistant Controller. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and reviewing general ledger activities. The Assistant Controller reports directly to the CFO.

Assistant Controller Job Duties:

• Preparing and consolidating financial statements
• Establishing and maintaining internal controls
• Managing all aspects of the general ledger
• Providing monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses
• Coordinating or assisting with the budget process
• Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Analyzing and reporting cost variances

Skills/Qualifications:

• Significant experience in preparing or reviewing property-level accounting, in addition to experience preparing fund-level and investor-level reporting
• Effective business writing, strong analytical skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong quantitative and technical/computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required; experience with Sage a plus.
• Must be a team player who will work well in a small company environment.

Pay: $102,515.00 - $110,797.00 per year
