The primary responsibility of the Director of Education is to educate and coach the educators.

Licensed cosmetology is not a requirement but experience in education/coaching would be helpful. We are willing to train someone in the methods of teaching and coaching that are recommended by the franchise.

The Director of Education trains and coaches the front desk receptionist and support staff, monitors educators attendance, students attendance and grades and perform educator and staff evaluations. The Director attends all staff meetings and possibly leads the staff meeting. The Academy puts on a "Student Celebration" monthly and the Director of Education will collect the data for student awards, prepare for the event by arranging for guest speakers or other team building activities and lead the school in the student celebration.

With the guidance of the Director of Operations they will assist in hiring educators, front desk support staff, count and order professional inventory. They will be responsible for making the schedule for educators and assist with changes needed for the curriculum schedule.

A positive and energetic personality works well with the students in moving them through some of the obstacles they may encounter during their time at The Academy.

There will be some data entry so some computer skills are needed.

Pay: $40,800.00 - $51,000.00 per year
