JOB SUMMARY:

Mauro Lilling Naparty LLP is a dynamic and growing boutique law firm with a national practice focused on appellate advocacy and litigation strategy. The firm is looking for associates to add to its to various groups of its diversified practice. The associates will primarily be responsible for augmenting the defense of high exposure personal injury and medical malpractice cases by conducting legal research, preparing evaluations, pre-trial motions and appellate briefs, participating in mediations and mock trials, and when appropriate, covering trials in a monitoring or appellate capacity in New York and in other jurisdictions across the country.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review case information to assist in the determination of viable litigation strategies.
• Work with experts and trial counsel to implement litigation strategies.
• Prepare written evaluations and other reports to clients.
• Prepare motions, memorandum of law and appellate briefs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Jurist Doctorate Degree required.
• Previous experience in litigation practice preferred; personal injury defense preferred.
• Strong writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, experts, co-counsels and clients.
