Long Cove Club is seeking full-time bartenders to join our team in our Hilton Head Island Premier Private Country Club. Our bartenders are responsible for enhancing the member experience by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service. We are seeking friendly and attentive bartenders who enjoy providing the best member experience, while thriving in our fast-paced and welcoming environment.

• Previous bartending experience is required.
• Thursday – Sunday and Holiday availability is required.
• Starting pay $18.00+ per hour, DOE

Bartender Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and stocked bar.
• Prepare high quality cocktails in a timely and efficient manner.
• Plan drink menus and inform members about new beverages and specials.
• Effectively use POS system (JONAS) to ensure accuracy of food and beverage orders.
• Demonstrate a guest-first mindset by anticipating and prioritizing our members’ needs.
• Maintain knowledge of our menu to make suggestions for members based on their unique preferences.
• Prepare and collect checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
• Complete side work prior, during and after shift.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Bartender Requirements:

• Positive attitude and ability to maintain calm demeanor.
• Flexible schedule to support private events.
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
• High School Diploma.
• 21 years of age to adhere to South Carolina laws.
• Wine, beer, liquor, and common cocktail knowledge.
