Behavioral Health Inpatient Social Worker - LSW/LCSW Full-time

Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital is located in Blackwood, NJ.

- Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited School of Social Work, New Jersey State Social Work Licensure (LSW or LCSW). Mental Health experience is preferred.

- Bio psychosocial assessment on each patient including substance abuse assessment, mental status assessment, and recommendations for treatment.

- Provide 1:1 counseling to patients – including issues related to trauma, substance abuse, homelessness, domestic violence, and childhood abuse

- Provide family sessions to patients and their families offering counseling and education regarding issues related to psychiatric admission and discharge planning

- Communicate with community supports and family for collateral information

- Provide documentation in the electronic medical record per the Northbrook Social Work Documentation Policy
