Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 per year

Schedule: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm)

As Billing / Finance Manager, you will be responsible for generating and submitting Medicare, Medicaid and third-party claims. You are also accountable for accounts receivable, collections, cash postings, as well as other miscellaneous billing. This is all in addition to managing a fantastic team of billers we have here at Home Health Care Inc.!

Successful applicants will have had prior experience in assisted living, long term care, hospice, or home care billing!

Your knowledge in the billing industry will be able to help trouble shoot any issues that may arise with the payers, portals EFT issues, contracting, and etc. With your keen attention to detail and accuracy this will create a positive impact on your work.

Billing / Finance Manager Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a revenue cycle department
• A College Degree in finance or related field is required
• Willingness to work in an office environment Monday-Friday
• Vast knowledge of a revenue cycle department, specifically of home healthcare, is necessary
• Advanced user knowledge of Excel and EMR systems is necessary
• Comfortable or experienced in forming a department and guiding team members
• Attention to detail and accuracy must be evident in your work
• Professional interpersonal skills and a positive attitude are strongly desired
• Adaptability to changing priorities and new projects is ideal

Billing / Finance Manager Responsibilities:

• Maximize reimbursements for the cost of care provided by our clinical staff
• Prepare, audit, correct, and submit claims to third-party payers
• Identify, analyze and address challenges, changes and breakdowns in the revenue cycle operations of the practice
• Ensuring departmental adherence to HIPAA, HITECH, CMS, HRSA requirements
• Performing full analysis of trends within payer denials
• Working with Director of Operations and Director of Clinical Services to streamline functionality.
• Performing audits of all recommended A/R write offs and presenting audit results to Leadership.
• Assist with and performing the review of contracted rates versus allowable or actual reimbursements received by payer contract negotiations.
• Posting insurance/patient payments that have been received via check, EFT, credit card or cash
• Respond to inquiries concerning account balances, third party payments from patients and other payers respectfully and in a timely manner
• Customer Service-Friendly, cheerful and helpful to patient and others
• Frequent interaction with a diverse population including team members, providers, patients and other members of the public
