PuroClean is a leader in property emergency services, and we are looking for a well rounded, hard working individual to join our team.

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in one or more of the following industries: Sales, Insurance sales, Construction and/or Civil Engineering. The BDR's role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. We need a self-starter, who works well under pressure, with a strong ability to empathize in sensitive situations. You will use your adaptable communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Account Executive, with a background in one or more of the following industries: Construction, Insurance or Civil Engineering
  • BA degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field preferred
  • A developed sense of urgency and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Highly empathetic; responds well in sensitive situations
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience in handling hazardous materials
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent and adaptable communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
