IS THIS POSITION FOR YOU?

We are looking for someone who is engaging and energetic to provide exceptional service to the members at Cornerstone Financial Credit Union. As a Business Lending Processor, you will provide our member business owners with information and assistance with business loans and depository products. The position will also monitor and audit existing and new business accounts, perform annual reviews on loan portfolios, and ensure compliance with state and Federal business lending laws.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate with business owners by phone, in person and email. Make recommendations for products and services. Collect application and documentation for underwriting.
• Prepare documentation, close, and disburse business loans to core system. Image all loan documentation.
• Audit business loan files for department. Work with auditors providing documentation and reports on business loans.
• Analyze business participation loans available to be purchased. Communicate and provide information to the Business Loan Committee.
• Conduct annual reviews on loan files and loan participations. Contact members, request documentation, and make site visits.
• Maintain relationships with members who have member business. Work closely with branch managers to develop and maintain relationships with business owners.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly business loan reports.
• Continued education is required for business lending; this includes but is not limited to webinars and conferences.
• Cross-sells lending and other credit union products.
• Learn the process of ordering appraisals, title work, flood certification, and home-owners insurance as necessary.
• Audit new business accounts for business services department and branches. Verifying proper documentation has been provided and signed from new and existing business members.
• Performs other duties as requested.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of two years lending experience is preferred.

Physical, mental and visual requirements

• The responsibilities of this position require the ability to move freely from one area of the building to another. Excellent visual, audio, and manual dexterity skills are needed as the work ranges from use of a personal computer, printer, calculator, and use of the telephone. This job requires on-site visits to businesses and travel to branches. A valid Tennessee driver's license is required as use of a company car will be required.
