The Business Systems Analyst position is responsible for interfacing between the development team and the business team to define, document and execute projects that drive process improvement, new functionality and system stability of the proprietary platform used to manage nationwide service and administration. This role must utilize business, system and analytical skills and knowledge to ensure project outputs deliver business needs in the most effective and efficient manner.

Essential Functions include:
· Lead all aspects of requirements gathering from business on assigned projects/tickets.
· Clearly identify dependencies related to requested development and communicate such in requirements documentation.
· Project manage assigned projects/tickets to completion, including but not limited to regularly scheduled meetings, project status reporting, and continuous communication between IT and the business team.
· Support development team during all processes of the development life cycle including planning, development, and testing
· Manage and identify external dependencies, such as UX/UI, integrations and support applications – looking at the bigger picture to deliver features and functionality

Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in IT related studies or equivalent training and experience
· Minimum three years of experience as a business system analyst
· Knowledge of Software development life cycle (SLDC)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications/data bases and software
· Solid technical background and 2 years implementation of new software programs
· Knowledge of MySQL a plus
· Strong reading and writing skills
· Five years project management skills. PMP certification a plus.

Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to sit or stand to utilize standard office equipment such as computers, phones/mobile devices, to talk, hear, and type various communications and system inputs.

Work Environment
This will be a hybrid or remote position. It requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones/mobile devices, internet appliances and filing cabinets. High Speed internet access that supports voice over IP is required. The position requires considerable contact with service providers, customers, and clients via phone, email and internal system documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
