We are currently seeking for a reliable part-time cashier to accurately and efficiently handle cash transactions. Cashier duties include scanning and processing transactions, handling cash and a high level of customer service. We are looking for someone who is honest, responsible, accurate and well-organized. You should have a high-level understanding of basic math, as you will be responsible for receiving payments and balancing cash registers. You will work with a team of other cashiers to ensure that customers are satisfied during their visits. As a Cashier, you should be detail-oriented and enjoy working with the public. Ultimately, you will help us maintain good customer relationships to drive sales. This is an opening for two stores, one located in Southbridge and one located in Sturbridge. Weekend availability is a must as well as the availability to cover shifts when needed. Opening Shift Sunday mornings are required!

Responsibilities:

• Recognize and validate all payment methods (cash/card).
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure customers are satisfied with the shopping experience (answer any questions they may have)
• Operate a cash register, using electronic and manual payment interfaces.
• Handle organic waste disposal (bags and boxes) in a safe way.
• Calculate change and turn in receipts to supervisors at the end of each shift.
• Keep the store organized and clean
• Restock product and check in orders
• Maintain alertness to minimize theft and ensure safety on the property
