HGV Driver Responsibilities

• Transports various cargo between source and destination locations safely and securely
• Conducts or arranges repairs and maintenance on delivery vehicles and equipment
• Securely load, transport and unload cargo (flatbeds trailers)
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders (dispatch, clients, etc.) of transport status and ensure safe and secure delivery
• Inspects delivery vehicles and equipment to ensure operability
• Work with managers and dispatch operators to resolve issues
• Performs emergency repairs as applicable
• Maintains electronic record logs of deliveries and maintenance
• Capable of driving in various weather conditions: cold, hot, wind, rain

HGV Driver Requirements

• 1+ years experience in driving large delivery vehicles
• Valid professional driver’s license
• Knowledge of road safety regulations
• Proficient in road navigation systems
• Capability and flexibility to working extended days (OTR)
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Effective critical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Endorsements: Hazmat, Tanker

Pay: $1,300.00 - $1,600.00 per week
