As a Certified Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. Duties/Requirements: • Escort patients to room and assists in determining medical problem • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments by taking medical history and vital signs • Instruct patients and family regarding medication/treatment instructions given by physician • Prepare exam rooms and instruments for examination/testing • Stock exam rooms with supplies • Prepare charts for the upcoming week • Make sure that all tests are complete and in the medical record • Triage telephone calls, answer patient’s medical concerns • Maintain patient's medical record and other information • 2-3 years' experience with Centricity EMR • 2-3 years' if relevant patient care experience, current healthcare level CPR certificate • Skilled in taking vitals • Proficient computer skills, knowledge of medical practice • Excellent patient care and physician assistance Full Time and Long Term Opportunities Available Monday-Friday and Day Shift $17.00-$23.00/Hr (DOE)
