Clinical Supervisor (LCSW, LPC, LISAC, or LFMT)

We are seeking a licensed (LCSW, LPC, LISAC, or LFMT) counselor to provide direct clinical supervision hours to outpatient therapists and to assist with the management of a Medication Assisted Treatment (M.A.T.) program. In addition, this individual may carry a minimum caseload, provide therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, and offer clinical guidance to therapists. The M.A.T. program runs early morning, and the supervision can be done during day shifts.

  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in counseling, behavioral health, marriage and family therapy and/or social work
  • Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic models
  • EMDR training a plus or willing to receive training
  • Experience with group therapy
  • Flexibility to help a wide range of clinicians provide therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and groups
  • A quick learner who has a flexible and open approach to learning and dedication to getting the job done in a thorough manner
  • Good follow-through and problem-solving skills, taking initiative to get things done
  • A true enjoyment of people and a social personality
  • An enterprising spirit with a friendly "go-getter" type of demeanor is a plus
  • A responsible leader who provides guidance, support, and performance correction for clinical staff while encouraging their growth and development
  • Someone who takes the reigns with compliance to ensure all contract requirements are met
  • Consistency, attention to detail, strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, willingness to compromise, and the ability to weigh employee concerns in light of the organizational mission
  • The ability to organize, maintain, support, and manage a highly effective clinical team to help fulfill the organization's mission
  • Training for clinical staff that ensures competency and compliance and empowers new employees and enables them to succeed
  • The handling of regular performance evaluations
  • Providing general mental health and substance abuse counseling to include individual, family and group counseling to children, adolescents and adults
  • Facilitating substance abuse groups in compliance with agency policies and contracted provider
  • Administering clinical supervision hours for associate-level therapists seeking independent licensure
  • Reviewing incident reports and discussing concerns with staff as needed
  • Coordinating with clinical director to ensure compliance and updates to clinical policies and procedures
  • Staffing cases with clinical teams and provide clinical supervision
  • Running and reviewing weekly reports on staff productivity

Minimum Qualifications for this role

  • Master’s Degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, behavioral health and/or social work.
  • Must be licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
  • Must meet the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners supervisory educational standards/rules.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisor role preferably clinical.
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Valid CPR Certification.
  • Must be flexible and willing to travel to our three different locations.
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to foster professional working relationships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
