Top Central Texas Credit Union is seeking an experienced Collector at our Temple, TX, headquarters in-office location.

Pay starts at $18/hr, and you'll also be eligible for monthly incentives after the conclusion of your training of up to $2,500 each month!!!

As a Collections Agent, you will:

• preserve the credit union’s assets by collecting on delinquent accounts.
• make outbound calls on unsecured loans and a credit card portfolio.
• identify first payment defaults on unsecured loans and the issues preventing the remittance of timely payments and/or other payment issues.
• share responsibility for collecting on secured debt and assisting other staff with processing repossessed collateral; and
• maintain a positive attitude and be team oriented

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a High School Graduate or equivalent
• Has stable work history
• Has previous collections, call center or teller experience (preferred)
• Exhibits strong analytical, decision-making skills, negotiation and problem-solving skills and can't think on their feet
• Is proficient in all Microsoft products, including Word and Excel
• Can multi-task and work in multiple systems at one time
• Is able to work flexible hours as needed Monday-Saturday. While Saturdays may be rare, you may be asked to work a half-day.
