Job Description

Financial representative interns with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network have the same opportunities to build their careers as full-time representatives. Like financial representatives, interns, working in a joint work setting, provide expert guidance and innovative solutions for individuals and businesses in the areas of retirement planning, insurance and investment services, estate planning, business planning, education funding and employee benefits. Supported by our network of specialists, training programs and mentoring opportunities, interns have access to the resources, products and assistance they need to help their clients and build their practices.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Prospecting and calling potential clients
• Scheduling interviews and appointments
• Meeting/Consulting with clients
• Preparing needs analysis and proposals for clients

Program Requirements:

• Full-time student at an accredited college or university
• Self-motivated, well-rounded, and in good academic standing
• Enthusiastic, dedicated to the challenge of helping others
• Integrity and maturity to make financial recommendations
• Able to commit 15 to 20 hours per week during the school year and full-time during the summer
• All majors accepted
• Graduation Date: MAY 2023 & MAY 2024
