Ohio Truck Sales, one of the largest semi-truck refurbishing companies across the United States, is growing and looking to add a Content Writer/Graphic Designer to its Marketing Team. As a Content Writer/Graphic Designer, you would be responsible for creation of content for our company’s social media platform with assisting on implementation of media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube etc. The Writer/Designer plays a key role in helping to achieve our own brand goals & objectives. Must be creative and full of ideas! This position requires a professional, open-minded, organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and creative individual. You must be a critical thinker, problem solver and team player.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions:

• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) & Canva
• Creating/designing social media ads through graphic design channels
• Creating video content
• Assisting with posting on all social media platforms - up to date with ad posting cadences (Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Writing blog posts, proofing blog posts
• Post engagement monitoring & reporting
• Research & staying up to date on tech/platform/tool changes and updates
• Helping in the process of creating email campaigns
• Assist with keyword research
• On-page activities: optimization of meta content, body copy, headers, images, etc.
• Assist with pulling reporting, reviewing & proofing as needed
• Assist with monthly SEO checklists, reviewing issues/updates needed with team
• Assisting with creating editorial calendars, writing post copy, proofing, and reviewing posts
• Gathering content ideas and working with the team.
• Writing, proofing, reviewing ad copy
• Proof and review documents and work for team members as needed
• Other duties as required with digital marketing programs in various areas: SEO, PPC, email, social media, as well as branding, print, and video efforts
• Strong online portfolio
• Great visual eye and a knowledge of typography, color and composition
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OS

Required Education, Skills & Abilities:

• 3-5 years of work experience in Content Writing or Graphic Design
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing and graphic design preferred
• Desire to learn and expand skills in SEM/SEO
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to gather data, strive to provide insight, and/or work with the team to analyze
• Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor marketing/consumer behavior, learning to apply to work efforts
• Superb writing skills
• Understanding of social media, content, and email marketing campaigns
• Understanding of SEO principles
• Fast learner: Self-motivated and able to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously
• Team player with a positive attitude and great sense of humor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per hour
