Therapy Source, a mid-sized nationwide therapy staffing company, is seeking an dynamic, results oriented Controller to lead and manage our Finance team.

This leadership position reports to the CEO and oversees cost and general accounting, accounts receivable/collection and provider payroll and risk management. This position ensures legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions.

Local candidates preferred – open to remote with periodic office visits to our Plymouth Meeting, PA location

CONTROLLER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in accounting or finance
• Master's degree preferred; CPA strongly preferred.
• 5 or more years of experience in managing the accounting or finance function in a small to medium sized company.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks.
• Required management experience.
• Service Industry Experience a plus
• Knowledge of Paycom a plus.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
• Monthly close of books and reports to CEO
• Manages cash needs and banking relationships.
• Manages and motivates the Billing team to provide “frictionless customer experience” and adhere to invoicing timelines.
• Provides status on company financial condition by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data to the CEO and management.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements by researching existing and new GAAP proclamations, legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
• Manage relationship, Accountants Review and tax return preparation with outside CPA firm.
• Manges relationship with outside bookkeeper firm.
• Manages all Federal, State and Sales/Use taxes for the company.
• Arranges for audits as required and appropriate.
• Prepares and manages budget and controls expenses effectively.
• Keeps up to date on information and technology affecting functional area(s) to increase innovation and ensure compliance.
• Prepare monthly pay for hundreds of 1099 providers.
• Prepare monthly sales commission.
• Maintains and updates invoicing and billing processes.
• Direct management of the Billing Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
