Job Qualifications:

• At least two years of early childhood education experience are required, with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the ability to ensure its use in the classroom
• Experience in teaching Montessori methods is preferred
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, publisher, and powerpoint
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain

Some Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Establish a safe, healthy, and welcoming preschool setting.
• Plan and drive marketing events and campaigns along with Director and build relations with community.
• Assist Director in maintaining license for school.
• Guide and support staff with curriculum and classroom needs.
• Conduct weekly curriculum meetings with classroom teachers to review and build proper lesson plans for the classroom.
• Help manage the operation of the school in the Director’s absence and handle licensing visits
• Communicate to parents on school updates like a weekly newsletter, school events, etc.
• Work with Director for smooth arrival and dismissal of students.
• Answers parent concerns at reception, and resolves by phone, by email, and in person.
• Assist staff with planning and execution of special calendar events for children/families.
• Ability to step into and assist the classroom in case of need.
• Help Director with staff professional development/training programs, planning and execution.
• Develops an atmosphere of support for the school within the community
• Help with any school events as necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
