Job Summary

This position is ideally suited for someone with experience in the making of Custom Framing. It is an hourly position with wages based on experience level.

Ideal candidates will have a background (knowledge or experience) in Fine Arts, Design, Production & Processing, and Mechanical Tools and Uses. Relevant experience in measurement and fabrication is also acceptable. Strong candidates will already excel in verbal and written comprehension, problem sensitivity and solving, inductive and deductive reasoning, critical thinking, and originality.

Responsibilities and Duties

Sales tasks include:

• Cutting, shaping, fitting, joining, molding or otherwise processing materials, using hand tools and other machinery.

• Checking stock levels and reordering merchandise as necessary.

The final aspect of this job includes assisting the owner with various aspects of the business and continued elements of the trade including, but not limited to:

• Running errands

• General shop maintenance
