Central State Door Service in Middletown, PA is searching for a full-time Customer Service / Order Entry Specialist to join our team! We are looking for someone who thrives in a busy, fast paced office environment while working as part of a small office team for a family-owned business. If you are detail oriented, have excellent organization skills, and are committed to providing excellent customer service, we want to talk to you! No experience in the door industry? No problem! We offer on-the-job training to learn everything you need to know about the industry.

Hours for our Customer Service/Order Entry position are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM.

Responsibilities:
The Customer Service /Order Entry primary responsibilities are answering and directing phone calls, order entry, creating purchase orders, tracking and receiving inventory, and processing accounts payable invoices and assisting with accounts receivable duties. Secondary duties include scheduling sales appointments from inbound customer requests, assisting with over the counter sales, and serving as back up to our other departments in the office.

Qualifications:

• One or more years of experience in purchasing, order/data entry, or similar role
• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Detail-oriented when entering data
• Excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone
• High proficiency in MS Office applications and able to learn various computer programs. Knowledge Microsoft 365 Dynamics a Plus.
• Ability to approach customer requests with a proactive and consultative manner; listen and understand customer urgency and effectively deliver results.
• Must be friendly, outgoing and flexible to change directions and/or ability to multi-task
