Overview:

The remote GCP Data Engineer will join our automotive client’s team working in one of the world’s largest data lakes. This team’s goal is to migrate data from Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will develop analytical products utilizing streaming and bath patterns with solid data warehouse principals. You will also partner with IT source teams to ingest data from various sources into a big data environment and streamline data ingestion processes. This is a remote position working in EST hours.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Data Engineering experience with GCP
• Strong Java and/or Python programming experience
• Experience with GCP tools: BigQuery, GKE, Dataflow, Compute Engine, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, etc.
• SQL development skills
• Strong understanding of CI/CD
• Experience with Git as version control tool

Additional Skills Preferred:

• Knowledge of Dataflow
• Knowledge of Terraform

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
