Position Title: Dental Lab Technician

Summary: Full spectrum Dental Laboratory Technician position available in progressive digital dental practice. Enjoy the independence of creating restorations from design to final fabrication! What You’ll Do:

• Our digital lab was designed as a central focus of our beautiful NEW dental office.

• Technician will work alongside dental assistants and dentists. The design of our floor plan and equipment was carefully planned to provide an ideal working space for the right technician to create and function independently, with support of the dental assistant team.

• Technology on-site includes: Intra Oral Scanning, CT scanner, Desktop Scanner, Exocad, Cerec, Open Source Milling unit (titanium and ceramic pucks), iMetric iCam 4D photogrammetry for precise verification of implants in large span cases, multiple 3D Printers, Digital Facial Scanner for facially driven design and restoration, MiYo Esthetic System for ceramic characterization, and more. We would also encourage the suggestion of other technologies a lab technician may have experience or interest in to take us to the next level!

• Technician will function in a complete dental laboratory system with a full spectrum of laboratory responsibilities including: patient interaction related to idealizing results, chairside shade matching, restoration delivery day adjustments.

• Will work hand-in-hand with the dental assistant team on full arch restoration cases the day-of treatment.

• Will work continuously and directly with the dentists on achieving best results, from single unit cases to full-mouth restorations.

• Will function at every level of the laboratory process after imaging performed by the dental team, including: creating a digital lab case from intraoral scanning and CT scans; creating surgical guides for implant placement in Blue Sky Plan; designing restorations in Exocad; 3D printing and processing; In-house milling of titanium and ceramics; CEREC design and fabrication; staining and glazing; custom shade matching; full arch fixed restoration design and finishing of both temporary and final prostheses.

• Additional Duties: equipment maintenance and careful monitoring of case progress from initial consultation to final delivery.

Experience is a definite plus, but could provide very quick growth toward an expert position with the right talent and potential. *
