Business Instructor

Florida Education Institute offers quality career education to students with a focus on preparing students for the real business world and a career in business management, sales, or entrepreneurship. Responsible for having a high level of student satisfaction and retention. This position is responsible for directing our school's business and entrepreneurship educational programs and promoting it to the community.

General Functions
Teach business management and related business courses to students aspiring to enter business as managers or entrepreneurs.

Hire, train, manage, and retain business instructors that will inspire students and connect with the community's small business owners.

Create workshops for business owners centered around helping them be successful, providing networking benefits, and continuing education.

Provide career education and specific instruction to students that inspires and prepares them for employment and business career success.

Use teaching resources provided including technological tools to teach students the required objectives and competencies.

Demonstrate excellent understanding and supports of all administrative policies and procedures.

Follows the policies, procedures, and best practices in the Faculty Manual.

Timely records and enters attendance, grades, and student progress notes in the student information system (SIS).

Prepares and organizes daily lesson plans directly from the syllabus and teaching resources.

Responsible for the student attendance record and overall retention for each course taught.

Collaborates with Academic Coordinator to assure academic advising and student support services produces an excellent student experience.

Files all faculty student academic and administrative reports timely and completely.

Assure structured discipline and appropriate classroom management is being practiced.

Assist students in receiving academic and student support services that are beyond the instructor level.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
