The Director of Finance and Facilities is a two-fold position. The person holding this title is responsible for managing all financial operations of the program to ensure compliance with mandates regarding program governance and accountability. They will provide frequent financial reports and assure strict adherence to financial regulations and compliance with Head Start performance standards and Department of Education guidelines.

The position also supports the maintenance of high quality facilities in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies
• Oversee all payroll functions
• Effectively maintain all financial records
• Oversee licensing requirements
• Ensures the health and safety of all environments

The person in this position also oversees the maintenance of high quality Head Start classrooms and overall facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance of facilities and other services with Head Start Performance Standards and other state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Accounting
• 7+ years of experience managing federal/state funded programs
• Supervisory experience
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Microsoft (Excel,Word)

Pay: $98,000.00 per year
