POSITION SUMMARY:

A TRA Enrolled Agent will analyze client financial situations based on information provided by the client, tax associates and from Federal & State Agencies. Work closely with various teams to deliver key components to provide resolution to our clients.

ENROLLED AGENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare 1040s, 1065s, 1120, 1120s, 1041s, 941’s, amended returns, state returns
• Review experience with above listed returns
• Ability to prepare returns off of WI/AT/TRT/ROA Transcripts
• Ability to e-file tax returns
• Must be comfortable calling clients and taking occasional in person client consultations
• Ability to work with clients to create financials (P/L and Balance Sheets) for clients seeking to convert Schedule Cs to S-Corporations
• Ability to consult with clients to discuss a variety of tax planning strategies, ranging from: Advising on withholdings adjustments, Entity corrections, Formations to stock sales timing and various other specialized transactions
• Should be proficient with Pronto & Proseries (Tax Software) If not, should be able to learn these softwares within first 2 weeks of employment
• Work closely with clients to obtain personal information regarding potential deductions, educational grants, or allowances.
• Work with our client’s best interest in mind always.
• Inform clients of important paperwork and documentation needed to complete tax returns properly.

ENROLLED AGENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Enrolled Agent or CPA (REQUIRED)
• MUST HAVE (Active/Renewed) PTIN (REQUIRED)
• 4 years Tax Preparation Experience (1040s, 1065s, 1120, 1120s, 1041s, state returns preparation required)
• 3 years experience with self-reviewing returns prepared

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400.00 - $85,000.00 per year
