An established law office is now hiring an experienced family law paralegal/legal assistant to join our team in our Platte City, Missouri location.
You will be responsible for drafting pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery, requesting and organizing records, scheduling hearings and client appointments, trial preparation, client contact and case support to the attorneys.
Prior family law experience is highly preferred. A college degree and/or paralegal certificate is required. You must have strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively. Attention to detail, strong editing and proofreading skills are required for this position. Working knowledge of MS Office is required for this position.
