Job Description: Modzori Inc is seeking a “Fashion Designer Assistant” for an exciting and fast paced workplace that will expose the candidate to all aspects of fashion design, production, manufacturing, and marketing.

Position: Fashion Designer Assistant, entry level position

• The full fashion design process, from concept to prototype.
• Product manufacturing and production.
• Fashion merchandising and marketing.
• Fashion E-commerce logistics.
• Fashion events and trade show execution.
• Photoshoots, content creation and editing.
• Business related travels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion design or related field preffered.
• Ability to successfully work independently and in a team environment.
• Candidates who show value, passion, and reliability, with a background in fashion design, merchandising, manufacturing, or marketing.
• Individuals with experience in photo, audio, and video editing and graphic design.
• Individual with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office.
• Fashion Design and D&M (Design & Merchandising) recent graduates.
• Multitasking abilities.
• Individual is excited to learn new concepts and collaborate with their team on new ideas and perspectives.

Responsibilities

• This position will be focused on the day-to-day logistics of running an independent fashion brand with the primary responsibility of facilitating the product development process. Individuals with full involvement in the fashion design process, from concept to prototype including fitting, specification creation, supplier communication, product development scheduling.
• Execute specific design development projects as assigned by the designer.
• Product manufacturing and production timelines control.
• Fashion event execution.
• Photoshoots and content creation.
• Work closely with the creative director on the fashion collections from sketching, merchandize specs preparation to production and QA inspections.
• Communication with global vendor partners.
• Social media ecommerce support.
• Traveling for the trade shows across the US and international travels for the QA inspections and product development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
