GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The position of Financial Analyst reports to the Sr. Financial Analyst. This is a highly visible and challenging position that will interact with all levels within our company. The position requires a very highly motivated,self-starter who has strong analytical and excellent interpersonal skills. This position is critical to providing analytical support to all level of the companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain weekly and monthly performance reports for management.
• Maintain and develop financial reports for all departments
• Deliver ad-hoc reports to support operational/business needs
• Analyze monthly and annual financial results during closing process and provide explanations for variances versus prior periods and Budgets
• Develop and maintain monthly/annual budgets and forecasts models
• Maintain tooling reports for all tool builds and other projects.
• Analyze and maintain product line costs trends
• Analyze and review data to support new initiatives
• Support company projects as financial lead
• Assist with monthly and year end accounting close

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting with 1-3 years of work experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong analytical capabilities and financial modeling and analysis skills required
• Strong understanding of the Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow
• Strong teamwork and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to think outside the box
• Strong MS Excel skills required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of data mining and analytical techniques
• Organized
• Self-motivated
• Detail oriented
• Able to multi-task
• Passion for off-roading a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Finance major preferred.
• Strong computer skills; advanced Microsoft Excel skills a must.
• Excellent oral and written communication; self-motivated.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Experience in financial modeling
• Experience with QuickBooks, Fishbowl ERP and ZOHO Analytics a plus
• 1-3 years’ experience as financial analyst, commercial banking experience is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to be seated, working at a computer 100% of the day.
• Ability to accurately use a keyboard, mouse, printer, and computer.
• Manual dexterity for office equipment such as scanners, laptop, and monitors.
• Ability to see and read documents in print and on the computer screen.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
