Job Purpose:

The Fixture Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the product management process including examining engineering drawings and specs, working with estimating, labor and material procurement and execution of permanent displays and signage. This role is essential in building and strengthening relationships with vendor partners, internal team members and the client while ensuring projects are produced ensuring quality, competitive pricing and delivered on time and within budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather project requirements and manage all production aspects on behalf of the client, working with vendors on delivery timetables and maintaining status of assigned projects.
• Input all project specifications and relevant data into an internal CMMS system to maintain key project data points, including customer quotes, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Execute projects within contract-specified timelines, according to budget requirements and quality standards.
• Identify and dispatch appropriate trade related vendors to complete installation as needed.
• Work with supply vendors on design and sampling of any new displays, signage or fixtures.

• Draft instruction sheets and work with design team for final layout.
• Assist in sourcing new and alternative products and/or reliable supply vendors.

• Partner with supply vendors to negotiate best pricing, lead-times, and terms.
• Maintain and manage vendor relationships that foster improved quality and service including issue resolution and alternative options for cost reduction or improved efficiencies.

• Review supplier quality performance and make recommendations for improvement if needed.

• Provide timely and comprehensive written and oral updates throughout the duration of a project. Work to resolve or escalate disputes to the manager as needed.
• Handle a multitude of complex and diverse project scope offerings from beginning-to-end, including installation.
• Maintain a positive attitude with all clients and vendors and demonstrate a focus on customer service.
• Build rapport with customers and routinely call to ensure overall satisfaction.
• Availability to travel and perform site surveys or manage on site work.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) years or more experience of permanent and semi-permanent retail display and fixture project management experience and managing construction projects in a leading or supporting role.
• Six (6) months or more of experience working with subcontractors.
• Experience with vendor negotiations and project management.
• Experience with procurement of retail permanent display, signage, lighting, textiles, plastic, wood and steel construction

• Ability to read prints and have some construction experience.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently with a drive to continually hit goals and succeed.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask without forgoing the quality of work.
