South Bend Chocolate is hiring outgoing and dedicated Front of the House Customer Service / Short Order Cook at our Studebagels location.

Our staff is to be engaging, courteous and passionate about customer service. The Cook will greet customers, answer questions, take orders and accept payments, prepare and serve food and beverages, have knowledge and assist with the purchases of our delicious products.

Success will take commitment to providing customers with excellent customer service and assisting with maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers, inform them of products
• Prepare foods such as sandwiches or baked goods
• Prepare beverages such as coffees or mochas
• Clean and restock work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing
• Food prep and presentation to present and improve food quality
• Work as a part of a fun, fast paced team
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and quality control
• Arrive on time, appropriately dressed and focused on customer service

Requirements:

• Exceptional listening and communication skills
• Ability to walk, bend and stand for extended periods
• Availability to work around peak morning and lunch hours, including early morning, weekends and some holidays
• A polite, engaging personality
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and excellent service
