Full-Charge Bookkeeper +++

We are looking to hire an experienced full charge bookkeeper to handle our company’s accounts. In this role you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting duties for the company. To ensure success, you should have advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting systems, be highly organized, proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop), good with Excel, have excellent project management skills, good communication skills and an eye for detail.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Processing accounts payable; collating and entering vendor expenses.
• Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Performing month-end closings.
• Tracking fixed assets andpreparing depreciation schedules.
• Preparing the trial balance.
• Maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger.
• Collating and entering vendor expenses.
• Monitoring Cash Levels.
• Remitting payroll taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, and income taxes.
• Filing IFTA, HUT and Heavy Highway Vehicles Returns.
• Working with Accountant, Insurance Agents, and Benefits Administrator as point person.

* Experience with multi-entity companies and/or the construction industry a plus.

Our bookkeeper of 21 years retired. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right individual to step-in and be an integral part of our team. The position reports directly to the owners of the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
