MRCOOL is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with experience in Salesforce, devops, microservices, APIs, and progressive web apps to join our IT & Marketing team in the ongoing development of multiple proprietary web solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the IT Director / Solutions Architect,

• Adapt, test, and implement modular features / microservices for our proprietary web solutions;
• Ensure a scalable integration between our proprietary web solutions and 3rd party services;
• Evaluate the time required to complete bug and feature requests;
• Identify users' need for functional improvement and/or automation;
• Participate in selected inter-departmental meetings, conference calls, sprints, and planning;
• Report progress to the IT Director / Solutions Architect on tasks and projects;
• General IT duties involving both hardware and software;

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field AND a minimum of 3 years relevant experience OR a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• A working knowledge of CLI, IDEs (preference given to VS Code and/or notepad++), GIT and GitHub, Linux / Apache Servers (Linode is a plus);
• Experience in Server-Side Languages (PHP preferred, node.js accepted, others considered), and relational databases (MySQL preferred, any SQL accepted, MongoDB considered);
• Experience developing within Frameworks, Libraries and CMS (Laravel, React, JQuery, Bootstrap, etc.)
• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS;
• Excellent communication and documentation skills;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent);
• The ability to advance learning and knowledge base outside of the work day if necessary;
• The ability to work on-site full time at our offices in Hickory, KY;

Desired Skills:

• 5 years experience with LAMP stack PHP development (Hybrid Paradigm - Procedural & MVC OOP)
• 5 years experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and associated frameworks & libraries (i.e. React.js, JQuery, SASS, LESS, etc.)
• 2 years experience with LAMP stack DevOps
• API integration experience (ERP, WMS, CMS, CRM)
• API development experience (RESTful JSON)
• Experience in installing and configuring software
• Network Administration and Maintenance
• Excellent Interpersonal / Team Communication skills (strong verbal and written required)
• Time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to easily adapt to changes in processes, procedures, and priority

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
