GoodPup is using technology to improve the lives of dogs and their owners with more effective training. We have trained over 65,000 dogs with 1:1 video chats with our expert dog trainers, 24/7 text chat, and self-guided exercises.

We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our core engineering team in Cambridge, Massachusetts developing GoodPup. You will be working closely with our team of product managers, product designers, and fellow engineers to build complete feature sets from backend to frontend.

Your Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience as a professional software developer
• Expertise with Typescript (or JavaScript) and React
• Experience with Sass (or Less)
• Experience with SQL (ideally PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with Node and browser JavaScript runtimes
• Familiarity with React Native ideal but not required
• Effective communication on progress, blockers, and time estimates
• Able to take a well-defined spec through the whole process: engineering design, timeline estimation, code completion, testing, product team review, and release to production.
