The Production Art Manager is responsible for leading the production art team, supporting production art needs (including template creation, graphics creation, new product support, licensing submittals, and more), managing workflows, and implementing new policies and procedures. As the manager, you will assign tasks & act as a mentor to Production Artists to ensure all requests are met on time and with high quality. You will drive efficiency in the organization by implementing new technology and processes (e.g., Illustrator automations for personalized products).

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Production Artists to ensure tasks are completed on time and with high quality
• Support production art needs including template creation, graphic design, new product support, and personalization
• Quality management & root cause analysis for art including ensuring latest templates are used and licensing / branding requirements are met (colors, orientation, mark usage, etc.)
• Generate product images for customer websites and sales sheets
• Maintain licensing submittals to licensors for new products
• Drive change in the graphics department with new technology, automation, and a process-driven approach

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts or related discipline
• 5+ years in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator & InDesign)
• Print workflow management experience required
• Licensed or promotional products experience preferred
• Knowledge in multiple print technologies (four color process direct-to-object printing, dye sublimation printing, screen printing, pad printing and laser etching)
• Able to communicate effectively with peers and all levels of management, including external customers
