Join the BBQGUYS.com internal creative services team and help design a more beautiful retail experience both online and offline. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for ideating and developing a wide variety of projects that will help bring our brands to life creatively.

● Builds design concepts and present creative work that effectively express brand standards while delivering on strategy.

● Responsible for the visual style used on site and across all channels (email, social, display ads, etc.).

● Responsible for off-line print creative development including POS, brochures, direct mail, and packaging

● Is an advocate for consistent and cohesive design throughout all touchpoints that are external and internal facing.

● Synthesize information from multiple sources, including feedback from others, to reach thoughtful design solutions.

● Follow established design processes and procedures within the broader creative department (partner effectively with project managers, designers, producers, copy editors, etc.)

Required:

● A unique portfolio

● 3-5 years’ experience as a full-time graphic designer either in-house or at agency

● Strong grasp of design and visual expression

● Ability to take complicated inputs and translate them into simple customer experiences

● Ability to speak to (and design for) multiple channels; store environment, social media, digital, film/video

● Deliver on commitments and hold others to the same.

● Use business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment to solve problems

● Visual storyteller and creative problem-solver with excellent written and verbal skills

● Experience with authoring brand standards or campaign asset guides is helpful

● Ability to work as a team; take direction; work iteratively

● Ability to manage multiple projects independently with varying timelines

● Experience with print design and standards

● Ability to temper design effort to match budget and timeline

● Ability to work flexible schedules occasionally to meet deadlines

● Adobe creative suite, Figma, other emerging design technologies as relevant to our creative practice

● Web, motion graphics, video skills a HUGE PLUS

● Willingness to operate in a Microsoft Office world of business programs, teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
