Job Description:

Reporting to the President, this position will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to help tell our story that engages, informs, and inspires our potential customers/buyers. We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations, both in print and digital media and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, plan, and illustrate concepts by designing layout of various materials for print and digital collateral that meet business goals
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
• Establishes creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
• Prioritize and manage projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to encourage user-generated content
• Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
• Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve design capabilities
• Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with internal teams on best practices for web pages presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communication, newsletters, and marketing materials
• Use trend intelligence and understanding of the current and historical business and market to design and execute specific classifications

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline, preferred
• 3+ years' experience in graphic design and design software including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.
• Web and email design, a plus
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
• Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
• Work in the fashion industry a plus!
• Photography experience and proficient with phot-editing software, a plus
