Graphic Designer - This position will work out of our office in Irvine.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating innovative and compelling design layouts for collateral and executing multiple design projects and tasks in support of Oakmont Management Group’s marketing activities, campaigns and advertising. The Graphic Designer role requires both print and digital design experience, as well as experience developing creative solutions for a growing company. The ideal candidate is organized in their designs, briefs, and time management and has a strong interest in helping build and refine a luxury lifestyle brand.

Salary range: $55-$65k

Essential Job Functions

• Creates layout and design of projects including brochures, ads, invitations, logos, newsletters, web content, social artwork and other graphics.
• Works closely with marketing team to ensure collateral aligns with branding requirements.
• Collaborates with VP of creative, graphic designer and community and regional marketing teams to deliver effective solutions to creative challenges.
• Coordinates with printers and other graphic vendors to prepare digital files for production.
• Effectively organizes, tracks, and communicates project cycles including setting calendars and milestones, reporting progress and deadlines for projects across the company.
• Maintains strict confidentiality standards and ethical business practices.
• Maintains technical knowledge through continued learning including attendance at educational workshops and/or reviewing publications.
• Consistently delivers superior design and effectively scales design solutions in accordance with project parameters.

Required Education and Experience

• 3+ years of work experience in graphic design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Mac OS Platform). Expertise in Illustrator and InDesign with a strong knowledge of Photoshop.
• Experience with developing designs as part of a brand identity.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Adept at multi-tasking with strong organizational and project management skills, and able to turn around projects very quickly and deliver on schedule.
• Experienced with producing graphics for both print and online mediums.
• Receptive to change and takes direction well. Candidate must be flexible, adaptable, innovative, and open in response to competitive pressure, multiple decision makers and production changes.
• A collaborative thinker that excels in a creative team environment.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Extremely precise attention to detail and impeccable follow-up.
• A portfolio of your work to share with us.
• Web design experience and working knowledge of Adobe XD or Sketch a plus!

• Must successfully complete all pre-hire requirements prior to beginning work.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:

• Bachelors or Associates Degree required. Major or concentration in graphic design or visual arts preferred.
