We are currently seeking a multifaceted Graphic Designer with an eye for detail and they must possess a passion to help churches teach the Bible’s time-honored truths. This Graphic Designer position would be responsible for: page layout of publications, brochures, forms, and envelopes. Other responsibilities may include: cover designs, advertising, logo creation, packaging, tradeshow design, web design, web maintenance, illustration and special projects as needed. Publication projects require working within the established style guide and project templates.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Liaise with production managers and the technical and administrative teams in the creation and execution of projects, keeping them abreast with any developments on projects and seeking their suggestions on new techniques to be employed in the execution of projects.
• Brainstorming with the marketing and design team to come up with image ideas and new concepts.
• Creating page layout of publications, brochures, forms, and envelopes.

Secondary responsibilities may include:

• Creating cover designs, advertising, logo creation, packaging, tradeshow design, web design, web maintenance, illustrations and special projects as needed.
• Creating complete illustrations by combining painting, hand-drawn and digitally created images according to specifications.
• Enhancing the design concept using a wide range of colors and graphics.
• Applying complex isometric techniques to add perspective to design shapes.
• Ensuring that printed illustrations meet specified color and quality standards.
• Make sure that job deadlines are met in due time, ensuring that job quality is nothing short of the best!
• Other special projects as needed.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Graphic design skills
• Working knowledge of PC & Mac computers, using: Adobe InDesign, Adobe InCopy, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office software.
• Strong understanding of typography and graphic design in order to bring content to life with engaging typography and dynamic design.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining a positive attitude and being open to direction and constructive criticism.
• Must be able to juggle multiple projects while managing timelines.

Other Bonus Skills Would Be A Plus:

• Web design/web maintenance skills
• Illustration skills
• Able to perform color correction, retouching, and manipulation of images as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
