Job Description :

We’re looking for a rad Graphic Designer to join our growing team of creatives on a full-time basis. A graphic designer is an incredibly important part of the team, responsible for being a visual translator for the strategies we collectively develop for our clients. These projects will mainly include brand identity creation, print collateral, environmental, and social media graphics.

You will partner closely with our Art Director, Strategists, and others on our team to express your creativity through intentional designs that support the overall goals of each project. A strong design style, attention to detail, and positive personality will be crucial to your success and enjoyment of this position. Plus, we love making cool stuff.

This position reports to the Art Director, and can be fully remote, on-site in our Ashland, Ohio office, or hybrid.

HERE’S WHAT THE ROLE REQUIRES:

  • Lend your creativity and strategic know-how to interpreting client preferences and project objectives, implementing the solutions, and receive and give feedback to other team members.

  • Making killer designers, layouts, and brand identity systems that reflect brand voice and personality.

  • Create moodboards, conduct research, and find daily inspiration in the world around you (or, you know, on the internet) to push your creative ideas forward with intentionality.

  • Receive, respond to, and complete tasks through our project management software.

  • Respond to internal team feedback, as helpfully as possible, in a timely manner.

  • Occasionally help other departments on our team with your design know-how and software wizardry.

  • Present your ideas and rationale to other team members.
  • Stay current on design trends and technology.

  • Be an active participant in your career and personal development.

  • Work independently, efficiently, and while meeting deadlines.
  • Be chill with your teammates and address problems when they arise. Passive aggression isn’t cool.

IDEALLY, YOU’D HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ year degree in a design field or equivalent experience

  • A variety of design skills across many mediums with a focus on brand identity and print layout

  • Understand of the printing process, illustration, and typography
  • A good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Experienced in working with higher education and large non-profit organizations

  • Working knowledge of animation or design for animation

  • You can tell jokes for days.

  • Slight-of-hand magic

  • Personal Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, or Amazon Prime account that you can use for yourself. If not, we can give you the login for Scott’s mom’s account.
