My client is a successful e-commerce clothing company. The company’s goal is to be a household brand found in every families’ wardrobe. They sell their quality, personalized styles at wholesale prices so the clothing is accessible to as many families as possible. The brand has been in business over 10 years and all clothing are designed by its owners.

Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer will apply art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials. This position is a remote contract, or part-time position, reporting to the Marketing Manager on a regular basis.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

· Collaborates with Marketing Manager to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.

· Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and brand cohesive way.

· Chooses graphics, fonts and brand photography; produces design for approval by Marketing Manager.

· Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.

· Consults with Marketing Manager, Website/Technology Coordinator and company owners as needed on complex or specialized projects.

· Maintains detailed records of billable project time and submits for payment as required.

· Submits finished design pieces to shared drives for company use and ownership.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Ability to meet deadlines.

· Ability to apply existing company brand guidelines.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.

· Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Must demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility and passion for continuous improvement.

· Organized with attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently on an assignment.

· Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree required; major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred.

· At least three years of related work experience highly preferred.
