Responsibilities:
LOCATION: Boxborough, MA
HYBRID: This is a hybrid role (remote & in-office) requiring the student work from the Boxborough office approximately 3-5 days a week.
PROGRAM TERM:
This role is for Summer and/or Fall terms.

Summer: Start Date May 22, 2023, or June 5th – August 11, 2023

Fall: Start Date August 14 or August 21, 2023 – December 15, 2023
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
-
Understand the architecture of the graphics IP and functional block being designed
-
Influence and drive verification environment with a team of engineers
-
Participate in the verification of a complex IP block, take ownership of some of the key features
-
Debug functional/performance bugs within the graphics IP
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Knowledge of UVM and constrained-random simulation
-
Shell scripting and Python for automation, data collection and data analysis
-
Strong understanding of computer architecture
-
Must be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion
WHAT WOULD SET YOU APART:
-
Strong C++ coding and debugging of complex systems
-
Understanding of graphics render pipeline is a plus
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Must have good English communication skills

Must have good teamwork and interpersonal skills

Completion of 3rd year of Electrical Engineering or Computer Science program preferred. MS and PhD candidates with or without prior industry co-op experience are welcome (all degrees must be related to CS or EE).

Qualifications:
At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
