HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Human Resources Generalist position supports the Human Resources Director in all aspects of HR including, but not limited to, the development, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of 6 major areas: Employee Relations, Payroll Administration, Safety Program, Employee health and welfare benefits, Local, state, and federal reporting, and commercial insurance administration.

MINIMUM EDUCATION

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
• Good Knowledge of employment/labor laws
• BS/BA required, concentration in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred.
• 2 Outstanding Work References

Maintains competency and knowledge of current standards of practice, trends, and developments in related scope of job role or practice.

Participates in ongoing quality improvement activities.

Maintains compliance with organization's policies, as well as established practices, protocols, and procedures of the position, department, and applicable professional standards.

Complies with organizational and regulatory policies for handling confidential employee information.

Demonstrates excellent customer service through his/her attitude and actions, consistent with the standards contained in the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization.

Adheres to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and TJC standards and/or standards from other accrediting bodies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
