This position is designed for a college level intern. This role will assist in basic Human Resources duties such as file management, pre and hiring processes with exposure to all phases of Human Resources and employee experience in a not-for profit and healthcare environment. This role will be present in high level meetings learning strategic processes and tools to support a career in non-profit, healthcare and Human Resources.

Essential

1. Master employee data input using Workforce Now ADP.
2. Able to understand and learn the employee benefits cycle.
3. Participates in recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel, including job postings, scheduling interviews, etc.
4. Schedules pre-employment tests, performs reference checks and conducts new employee orientation.
5. Assist in maintaining employee files to meet all federal, state and ISDH regulations.
6. Works independently and within a team environment on daily, special or ongoing tasks/projects.
7. Performs all other general office duties as assigned promptly and accurately, including typing, copying, filing, and faxing/scanning documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current college student, majoring in Business and/or Human Resources
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to use databases and social media tools.
