Position Purpose:
The Marketing Analyst Sr is accountable to plan, organize, implement and evaluate effective marketing automation and lead management programs. This role will support the enhancement, implementation, and management of the Marketing department system integrations; including the Marketing Department’s platforms needed for lead nurturing, support marketing analytics and the sales and marketing database in Salesforce.com. This position needs to have a strong ability to lead and/or support various teams including IT, Sales, Sales Operations, other groups within the Marketing department and outside agencies (as a lead or a support) to optimize marketing automation software. This position will support the marketing tactics consistent with the company’s strategic goals and priorities and direction from the Manager, Marketing Automation.
This position will be allowed flexibility to work a hybrid/remote schedule based at home and in the office. May work from our Bannockburn, IL or downtown Chicago, IL office.
The Responsibilities:
Manages Marketing Operations projects and initiatives focused on implementing and optimizing the MarTech (Marketing Technology) ecosystem- Partner closely with Integrated Marketing, Sales Operations and IT to implement people, process. and technology related to improving funnel conversion
- Manages the transition of the commercial marketing performance measurement framework structure and systems through Stericycle’s ERP roll-out
- Responsible for configuring key elements of the marketing software and related platforms including, list segmentation and tracking, Implement/maintain lead scoring logic, reporting and analysis preparation, and campaign logic and development.
- Handles ongoing maintenance and oversight including ensuring all marketing related campaign emails are prepared, deployed and delivered on time, creation of content landing pages using content management system, organizing and leading ongoing meetings to facilitate planning and execution, managing of datasets within platform, and identifying opportunities to improve performance such as optimization, personalization and testing.
- Supports the marketing data project implementation including, plan and implement the roll-out of new program tactics and initiatives, and strong ability to manage stakeholder expectations to strict timelines.
- Handles the marketing lead management process within the automation platforms and software programs.
- Ensure Stericycle’s websites and back-end marketing related lead flow systems are running smoothly and effectively. This includes the management of vendors and multiple systems interacting together and attending meetings with Sales leaders.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders and senior leadership regarding programs, campaigns and results.
- Develop and maintain sound working relationships with vendors. Understands strengths and weaknesses of each. Ensures projects are managed appropriately and funds are spent wisely. Drives process and efficiency improvements in all ongoing initiatives.
- Ensures high quality, timely roll out of programs through effective collaboration.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Education/Experience :
- Bachelors in Marketing or equivalent.
- 4+ years’ experience in a marketing role, preferably B2B services environment.
- 2+ years’ experience working with marketing automation software
