The successful candidate will be responsible for pattern illustration and graphic design such as marketing materials, club subscription box artwork, product packaging, product artwork, trade show materials, and other sales collateral and catalogs in multimedia formats for online and print use. We are looking for someone creative, detail-oriented and able to work independently but also collaborate with our team. The Graphic Designer will also need to be highly organized in order to plan their workload and meet deadlines. Strong storytelling skills, and proficiency in technical skills such as sketching and drawing in programs like Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Design and lay out documents using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent.
• Prepare print-ready artwork for reproduction.
• Use the internet to conduct research and obtain images, text and other digital media for design projects.
• Work closely with the marketing department to coordinate production schedules and to understand their project needs.
• Create original art for ads, websites, logos and other marketing materials.
• Lead independant projects.
• Collaborate with other designers on design projects.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
