Overview:
Reports to: SVP, IM Operations

Functions Supervised:

Primary Functions:
Manage and be accountable for the staff, day-to-day operations, and strategic vision of the IM Operations Field Services department. Also responsible for a high degree of system reliability, performance, environmental health, end user experience and employee productivity through continuous analysis and improvement of the end point infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with all stakeholders to continuously improve the end-point user experience.
  • Drive quality and accountability within the organization with well-defined budgets, processes, metrics, and goals for monitoring, reaction, and environmental stability and user experience.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to improve efficiency in the field operations.
  • Continually improve field service operations through process improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and socialize strategic plans and budget for the health and effectiveness of the field services program using current and trending technologies.
  • Promote a healthy and functional work environment where high functioning service technicians and all stakeholders feel comfortable communicating ideas, concepts, and challenges in an open and trusting environment.
  • Work effectively with Project Manager on project initiatives requiring end-point technology needs for all projects assigned. This includes areas such as hardware, software, task resourcing and budget needs. Must assure Field Services completed project initiatives on time within budget and with accurately defined scope.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related field. Masters degree preferred.

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education:
Demonstratable 10 years of management experience working in large, complex systems environments.

Experience/Skills:
Must possess significant and in-depth understanding end-point infrastructure in both cloud and on-premise architecture. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with cutting edge automation technologies and environmental monitoring programs required. Excellent time management, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills. High level of emotional intelligence and ability to socialize ideas and concepts required.

Compensation:
IM Operations Field Services Manager (Category 05):

Salary Pay Range:
$100,000 - $180,000 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
