Job Requirements:

● Under direct supervision of a lead pipefitter, assist in the lay-out, assembly, installation and maintenance of pipe systems and related equipment

● Cut pipe, using saws, pipe cutter, and cutting torch; Thread pipe, using pipe threading machine

● Assemble and install a variety of metal and non-metal pipes, tubes and fittings, including iron, steel, copper and plastic, and secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps and hangars using hand and power tools

● Connects pipes, using threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused, cemented and welded joints

To be considered candidates must have:

● Desired but not required, 1-3 years experience in assembly, installation and maintenance of pipe systems, pipe supports, plumbing methods and related equipment used in construction related trades.

● Will train individuals with less hands-on experience who demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude, work ethic and willingness to learn

● Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals desired but not required

● Willing and able to work at heights

● Willing and able to travel up to 2 weeks at a time

● Valid Driver’s License and a Clean driving record
