Description:

1. Under the direction of the Department Manager, plans, develops, maintains, tests, and documents all aspects of the IT disaster recovery plan. (80%)  Develops and maintains bank related policies, obtains Managements’ approval, and publishes any new or updated policies on bank’s intranet site.  Reviews testing cycles of critical applications and processes, validation of third party resiliency, and cyber-attack response.).  Facilitates and conducts testing, collects and analyzes results for improvement and reporting.  Manages and maintains annual Business Impact Analysis survey.  Completes gap analysis and risk assessments, and compiles results for reporting to Management.  Participates in the annual Tabletop Exercises.  Collects and analyzes test results, and incorporates changes to IT disaster recovery plan.  Ensures the IT disaster recovery plan is developed and maintained to satisfy FFIEC compliances, BNP Paribas, and internal audit requirements.  Serves as project lead in the annual BancWest Disaster Recovery Exercise.  Works with business units, IT support staff (Network, Server, End User), and Fidelity Information Services (FIS), to coordinate testing.  Prepares and submits reports on compliance and testing requirements for Management approval.  Keeps abreast of business continuity best practices and recommend processes to apply to Bank’s overall IT disaster recovery plan. 2. Assists with the development and the implementation of strategic plans/goals for the department (20%)  Manages, mentors, trains, and supports department staff members.  Improves operating efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve customer service.  Assumes role and responsibilities in the absence of the Department Manager.
